I am a Dhimant Adak,a 22 year old Chromatic harmonica player from India. I am also a jazz pianist and keyboardist and have graduated from the Rabindra bharati college in Western Classical Honors degree. I am doing music from past 7 years. I have gathered a quite several musical recognition and experiences over the years. I have performed nationally as well as internationally several times. 

Some of my biggest achievements are that i have performed with the original musicians of indian film music,composers like Rd burman and Salil chowdhury. I have performed in television media like in different television shows and radio channels. I was also being invited from the reality show of star jalsha super singer as a guest artist to perform. I regularly perform in most of the big auditoriums of kolkata professionally.A regular performer as a harmonica player in the indian harmonica festivals all over the country.In the year 2022 , I was the only indian being selected from the society of Harmonica( SPAH) in America, one of the biggest organisation of harmonica invited only 7 harmonica scholars from the world under 21 and i was among the one from India to represent my country and played with the best harmonica players of the world. 

In 2023 year I was being invited from the parnu harmonica festival by piccolo harmonica club happens in Europe,estonia to perform in their festival concerts and take part in the international world harmonica championship nordic - baltic open representing my country and fortunately I became the champion in my chromatic harmonica section category and secured 2nd rank in the whole championship, also was the Junior most harmonica player in the whole festival.

In 2024 year, I was being invited from india by the Easttop harmonica brand company to take part in the biggest harmonica festival of the world 14th Asia Pacific harmonica festival as a guest to play with the world's best harmonica players on the same platform.  

 I perform as an independent Harmonica artist and have shared stages with the renowned artists  and have done several harmonica  workshops in my city.  

I also works as a music producer and do regularly sessions in various commercial projects as a chromatic harmonica player. I also compose and do arrangements for my harmonica in my home studio. 

Presently I have a jazz - contemporary setup and working on some of my own compositions and album which are soon going to released and getting ready for the upcoming gig tours.  

I mostly play genres like jazz, fusion,  funk , latin,pop and other contemporary forms with both western and indian classical Fusionistc blended style with my chromatic harmonica.  

I have gathered knowledge on music theory jazz, blues, contemporary styles and western as well as indian classical music and presently teaching chromatic harmonica and piano/keys to all national and international students from basic to advance.
